FAQS:
WHO IS THIS FOR?
This retreat is for those of you who are actively accompanying at least one or more persons in the direction space. We really want to offer this for those who are using their training in real time.
WHO IS FACILITATING THE RETREAT?
Dick and Sibyl are co-founders of The Springs and on-site directors. Sibyl is an on-site spiritual director and co-teacher of the Sustainable Faith School of Spiritual Direction and Ignatian Journey Cohort. They have lived a lot of life and walked with many people over decades as Holy Listeners and soul companions. They are going to share some of their learnings over the years of how to become the kind people in the fourth quarter of life that can hold wide space as a spiritual Father and Mother who give their lives away.
THEME: Becoming Spiritual Father and Mothers to Give Our Lives Away
What does it take now to become the kind of people and holy listeners in the fourth quarter of our lives? How do we let God do the work now in our life to be the kind of person that can hold a wide space for those who are longing for more in their life with God? We just don’t wake up later in life and say now I will become the kind of person God desires so I can help people. We actually have to let that happen much earlier.
We are in for a real treat as we listen and interact with Dick and Sybil Towner who have been walking with people for many decades now. You won’t want to miss this time to grow, to be with God to tend to your own soul, and to just take time tasting the goodness of God through others who are walking this same journey as you are and listening in this space. Sybil has been my spiritual director for a long time and I have personally benefited from time spent at the Springs with both Dick and Sybil.
